Martha J. Tarutis, Registered Nurse and Owner/Administrator of Long View Nursing Home for forty-three years supports higher education. The purpose of this scholarship is to honor the values, attributes and dedication of Martha Tarutis to the residents and employees in and for the advancement of long-term care. The scholarship will be available for eligible students in Carroll County, Maryland that pursue a degree in nursing or in a field that will benefit long-term care.
